Why we do this — and why it's free.
Music has given us more than we could ever give back. It has kept us company, brought us together, lifted us up. Gigbusters is our way of giving back just a little of all that.
Live music is in danger. Small venues are closing, new talent can't find a stage, and every stage that disappears never comes back. Variety — all those styles, all those scenes — is the proof of what music does for a society. We cannot let it die.
Without venues to play in and without opportunities for those starting out, we are condemning music. That's why this tool is free: no commissions, no middlemen, no small print. For the audience, for the musicians, for the venues.
We are all responsible for the music.
