Delete your Gigbusters account

This page explains how to delete your Gigbusters account (the app and the web at app.gigbusters.com, by Era Creativa Agencia Digital S.L.U.) and what happens to your data. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. How to delete your account

From the app itself (the quickest way):

1. Sign in and open Account (your avatar, top right).
2. Scroll down to the Delete account section.
3. Confirm the deletion. It takes effect immediately.

By email: if you cannot sign in, write to privacidad@gigbusters.com from the email address you registered with, requesting deletion. We process it within 30 days at most.

2. What gets deleted

• Your account and profile: email address, alias, birth date, photo and preferences.
• Your open sessions and the mobile push notification token.
• Your agenda, notifications and personal activity on the platform.

3. What is kept, and why

• Anonymised records: concert attendance records are unlinked from your identity (they no longer point to you) instead of being erased, because they feed aggregated statistics that identify no one.
• Bands and venues: If you are the only administrator of a band or a venue and there are other members, you must hand that role over to someone else before deleting your account. If you are its only member, the band or venue is closed along with your account: its future gigs and agreements are cancelled and we notify the affected bands, venues and people in the app and by push notification. Anything that has already taken place is left untouched.
• Legal obligations: data we are legally required to keep (for example, moderation records) is retained only for the legally mandated period.
